Blackball Salami Pizza

Italian Salami Pizza with Cherry Tomatoes and Basil

  • 1 thin pizza base
  • 2 T Tomato paste or pizza sauce
  • 3T fresh or 1T dried Oregano
  • 6 cherry tomatoes (approx), halved
  • ¼ red onion, sliced
  • 50g (approx) Sliced Venison Blackball Salami
  • 1/3 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 2 T Olive Oil
  • 100g (approx) mozzarella cheese, torn into chunks
  • A handful of basil leaves, roughly torn

Pre-heat oven to 220° fan bake. Spread the tomato paste over the pizza base with the back of a spoon and sprinkle with oregano. Top with onion, salami, tomatoes, salt and pepper and grated mozzarella, drizzle with olive oil and bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes. Immediately scatter over the remaining mozzarella and top with basil.
